Website security that keeps your business online.

A hacked website can take your business offline, damage your reputation and put customer information at risk. We protect business websites from threats like the PHP2Shell flaw with security check-ups, ongoing protection, and rebuilds onto secure, modern platforms when an older site is not worth saving.

Talk to us about Website Security

Why website security matters now

Most small business websites are never directly targeted. They get caught by automated attacks that scan the internet for known weak spots: outdated software, forgotten plugins, weak passwords and unpatched servers. When a serious new flaw appears, attackers move fast, and sites that are not maintained are the first to fall.

PHP2Shell is a recent example. It is two serious flaws in PHP, the software that runs WordPress and many other websites, and it can let an attacker take control of a server. Updating WordPress does not fix it; the server itself has to be updated. Our PHP2Shell guide explains what it is, who is affected and how to check your site.

Security check-ups

A check-up shows you where your website stands today. We look at the software and versions your site runs on, plugins and themes, the server setup, logins and access, backups, and common weak spots attackers look for. You get a plain-English report that ranks each issue by urgency and explains what to do about it.

Ongoing protection

Websites need regular care to stay safe. With ongoing protection, we keep your site’s software patched, watch for new threats that affect it, keep backups current and check that everything still works after updates. When a serious flaw like PHP2Shell is announced, we check your site right away instead of waiting for something to go wrong.

Rebuilds onto secure platforms

Some older sites are not worth saving. If your site runs on outdated software, depends on abandoned plugins or keeps needing repairs, a rebuild can be cheaper and safer in the long run. We rebuild onto modern platforms with far fewer weak spots, such as fast static websites with no PHP running behind them, which are not affected by flaws like PHP2Shell. See our Websites service for how we build.

Who it is for

Website Security is for businesses across Miami-Dade and Broward with a website they depend on, especially sites on WordPress or other PHP-based platforms, sites built years ago, and sites nobody on the team is sure how to maintain. If you are not sure whether your site is up to date, a check-up is the quickest way to find out.

Questions about Website Security

Is my WordPress site affected by PHP2Shell?

It might be. PHP2Shell is two serious flaws in PHP, the software WordPress runs on. They are fixed in PHP 8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27 and 8.5.12. A security check-up confirms which version your site runs and whether it is exposed.

Will updating WordPress fix PHP2Shell?

No. The flaw is in PHP on your server, not in WordPress itself, so updating WordPress or plugins does not fix it. The fix is updating PHP on the server, which your host or developer usually handles.

Should I protect my old website or rebuild it?

It depends on how old the site is, how it is built and how much it matters to your business. After a check-up, we give you a straight recommendation either way.
